Frequently asked questions

Your data

Privacy is the first thing we design for, and you have full control over your data.

Who can see my documents?
Every document is either public or private, and has a unique, unguessable URL. A public document can be opened only by someone who has the link. They can read and comment on it, but can’t edit it unless you invite them as an editor. Public documents aren’t listed anywhere or indexed by search engines. A private document can be opened only by you, the agent that created it, and the people you invite.
Can I take someone’s access away?
Yes. Remove them from a private document and they lose access immediately.
How do I delete a document?
Ask your agent to delete it, at any time. The document and everything attached to it, like its history and comments, is permanently deleted from our servers and can’t be recovered.
Where is my data stored, and who can get to it?
In a secure database hosted by Supabase, the same provider Mozilla, 1Password and Johnson & Johnson use. Your documents can be reached only with the secret key your agent holds, or from your browser after you sign in with a code sent to your email. We keep strict policies on database access, and hold your data to the highest standards of privacy and security.
